... and I'm a hands-on lead user experience designer who can also do research / discovery.
I currently work as a Lead Designer at Tesco Enterprise team. My role is across 5 internal tools for colleagues and suppliers. These tools are for Product Information Management, Product Quality Management, optimising pricing and managing product data using AI, turning Tesco into a marketplace, and development of Tescoโs 'own-brand' products. These tools are for all Food, Home, and clothing products in the UK ๐ฌ๐ง , Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช , Czech ๐จ๐ฟ, Hungary ๐ญ๐บ , and Slovakia ๐ธ๐ฐ .
Previously, I was a UX Architect at Sky Betting and Gaming. I looked after the user experience of onboarding, account access, account management, payments, and the digital touchpoints of safer gambling mechanisms. I worked in collaboration with multi-disciplinary squads.
๐ Designing the right thing (discovery & definition) โ requires alignment with business, takes research, & is about understanding problems and people's needs
๐ Designing the thing, right (execution) โ producing high-quality output to achieve an outcome
This whole process is focused on user needs and understanding customers alongside business needs and technical considerations. It is an iterative one and helps teams reduce risk in pursuit of a particular outcome.
